I’m a writing tutor and English educator with a Master’s degree in the Teaching of English from Columbia University.

I came to teaching through a love of reading and writing, but just as crucially, through my own experience as a student. The teachers I remember best weren’t just sources of information – they were thoughtful guides who created spaces where I felt comfortable trying, failing, and improving. That experience stuck with me, and it’s a big part of why I do this work now.

Over time, my goal is not just to improve a single assignment, but to help students feel more confident, independent, and capable with their writing skills in general.
